but Sachi said you were ok with having two characters in a profile because they would always travel together and pretty much be like on character.

Well, yeah, that is what you said, Zach, but maybe you misunderstood what Katara Shay meant...

I meant that you could be friends or something, not that you could have four whole characters altogether. Each character's friend must be the character of another member. Sorry if I confused anyone You may have two characters. Each may be friends with one character of another member

Ohhhhh........ok but I guess to narrow it down I'll just use Shika and Bon Lay.But if you get tired of one after a while could you use one of your others instead of creating a new profile?

Well the other "friends" are still not your character - and you'd have to re-apply again to make a new character.

Your character's name: Qnaa Nationality: Fire Nation Colonies. I'm not sure if that qualifies as Earth Kingdom or Fire Nation..... Bending skills: Non bender, but talented martial artist. Character's age: 16 Gender: Female Short description (family background, appearance, etc):Appearance: Qnaa is about 5'6" with long, brown hair and golden brown eyes. She dresses in a loose-fitting dark green shirt over a tighter, pale brown one. She weas dark brown pants tucked into very comfortable dark red, knee-length boots. She wears silver ear cuffs and braclets and a silver chain loosly around her waist. Reference pic (please view the full size, it's a lot better): Family and Background: Qnaa's father died at war shortly before she was born, and her mother was killed by soldiers when Qnaa was seven. She was raised by her older brother, who left her in Ba Sing Se about 2 years ago to go to the Fire Nation mainland (or, island...?) for unknown reasons. Qnaa has lived alone in the Middle Ring of the city, working in a local cafe to earn a living. She has waited anxiously for news from her brother, whom she has not heard from in over a year. Qnaa hopes to go to the Fire Nation and join him someday. Currently, she searches for any information about the Fire Nation and her brother that she can find, though she can never seem to stay still long enougth to read anything that may be important. She instead spends most of her time listening in on gossip and practicing her martial arts. Personality: A bit of a spazz, and often quite clingy. She also has a short attention span and can't stand still for very long without spazzing. Qnaa is generally a kind person, though she can be violent when someone she cares about is in trouble. An RP example:'What a nice day,' Qnaa thought to herself as she stared up at the crystal blue sky, dotted with cotton clouds to the west. The teen stood outside her simple unoccupied house, about ready to open the door and proceed inside. 'Why waste my time at home on a day like today?' Qnaa wondered. She quickly spun around and hurried down the busy street. "Practice. Practice. Practice!" she chanted aloud to herself. A few blocks away, she came to one of her favorite training spots. It was nothing more then a small, abandoned alley, but Qnaa had rearranged the various junk littering the alley to make a small training ground. Various garbage bins, two broken carts and several rusted wheels had been arranged carefully. Qnaa grinned. It wasn't much; in fact, she had a nicer training ground set up in what should have been the third bedroom in her house. But she loved the noise this one made. She kicked one of the carts, and it rolled on its remaining wheels and crashed into one of the garbage bins. Qnaa smiled. She punched the other cart as hard as she could, and it smashed into yet another bin. Both items shattered into a hundred pieces. Qnaa stared in amazement. "Oops," she muttered. She quickly spun and walked away from the alley. She'd have to find a new training ground; this one was broken. 'Oh well,' she thought. She grinned and started running. 'I think I'll go check in on him.' She turned down another street and ran towards the house of one of her friends, smiling.

Your character's name: Raidon "Rai" Nakayama Nationality: Fire Nation Bending skills: Unorthodox Master Firebender Character's age: 17 Gender: Male Short description: Rai's father, grandfather, great grandfather, and so on and so forth, all traveled the world to learn of other cultures and incorporate other bending styles into their own. Having such a lineage gave Rai a real boost in his firebending, propelling him in skill above and beyond several of his friends, who all grew envious and broke their ties to him. This nearly drove Rai to follow in his father's footsteps. However, having decided that there was no point to going through all the trouble, Raidon remained in the Fire Nation and, instead, moved closer to the capitol to live on his own so he could keep away from his father who is enraged that his own son refused the life of his ancestors. An RP example: Raidon waved to the few friendly people he passed on his way home from the market, his cloak waving about slightly as he walked. He pulled an apple out of the full grocery bag he held in his left hand and polished it off on his shirt before taking a bite. A smile maintained itself upon his face even though there were more than a few pairs of eyes looking upon him with not-so-nice thoughts. Honestly, Rai could care less! So long as they gave him no reason to harm them, he let them think what they want. "Oh, drat!" Rai turned around and saw that an elderly woman had dropped her own bag, spilling assorted fruits and vegetables onto the road. Letting out a quiet sigh, Raidon walked over to the old woman, who was scrambling for her supplies, and quickly helped her gather up what she had lost. "Thank you, young man," said the woman, kindly. "No problem, Ma'am. I'm glad to help." After quickly nodding his farewell, Rai continued his walk home at a greater pace than before so as to be far away from the old woman when she discovers he slipped a few silver pieces into her bag when she wasn't looking.

Hello! i wanna add a new character, so, here i am. ;D Your character's name:Valtalot (pronounced Bal-te-lo) Nationality: never really any, she was raised in a neuteral island that is "controlled" by the fire nation, but nobody went there due to certain government issues Bending skills:non-bender, elite warrior-assasin Character's age:she believes that the keeping of ones age in relation to birth is pointless, so does it compared to memorable things Gender:female...did i really need to specify? Short description (family background, appearance, etc): She is a unnatural person. Her family was created by fire nation scientists in early years that were attempting to create the perfect fighting creatures, but the weapons department won out and it was abandoned, leaving the creatures on an island that they took residence in. the family resembles vampiric creatures, but cannot suck blood, transform into a bat, ect. the only enhanced abilities are strength, bending ability(which kinda doesn't matter) and the ability to climb/stick to walls. they do not have any of the vampiric weaknesses, but have a family structure similar to vampires. She (finally, the description!) is not very tall, maybe 5'7", and is more pale than would be expected. Her hair is a pure white(almost silver) that is nearly floor-length. she has large yellow eyes with rays of crimson and a very light build. she wears a cloak that covers the entirety of her body and bone armor (simply, a black bodysuit that is supported in some areas by ribs and other such bones, vey light and not very strong), and wields something called the Nightmare Harness, claws made of bone that are magically enhanced to grow and shrink at will, that cover the arms and connect in the back by a loose leather strap rather like a belt. She is extremely apathetic and aloof, her feelings are easily changed (for good or bad) and is mildly violent when angry. She was trained by her father to hunt and travels the planet looking for rare species to collect, mainly bones, from. An RP example (8 sentences, your best): Vantalot crouched upon the tree. She was used to climbing them, and sometimes, it was even entertaining. A smile crossed her lips as she stared at her prey, a wolf-deer, not rare by any standard, but a nice prize indeed. She leapt, her feet landing softly in the foilage, making no sound. Not a sound escaped her as she began to stalk the creature, her claws extending to nearly a foot in length as she tread slowly through the forest. Suddenly a loud commotion erupted to her side as she saw a firebender attemt to take down the Wolf-deer, failing miserably as it fled into the darkness. Not my best, but i'm in a hurry. no animals were harmed in the makings of this post

Your character's name: Aoi
Nationality: The world
Bending skills: Bending is overrated
Character's age: 22
Gender: Male
Short description (family background, appearance, etc):
"God bless... God d**n. . ."
Although divulging clear information on things such as appearance, growing up, and inner thoughts or feelings is something only a naive child would do, under circumstances like this talking about such seems absolutely necessary, does it not? Its not like one could continue in life without a history, for everyone has one of the sort. The one that is about to be unraveled from the tight weave that it has been sewn into is one that could fill a book that would become a best seller within minutes. So sit back, relax, and open your mind to the world around you as you hear the life of the boy known only as Aoi.
The story does not begin at nineteen years previous to this. It was to the first year of his birth mothers life when it all started. His grandmother died when his mother was only a small child, creating a since of abandonment and fear of any sort of commitment in his mothers world. She was frail and small, yet beautiful to the point where it makes peoples mouths drop in astonishment. His father was a son of a noble family, and was always expected to marry a beautiful women, have a son to inherit his fortune, and work the way his fathers before him had worked. When he saw Aoi's mother, he knew that she would be the perfect trophy wife. One that would only come when called for and yet be beautiful on his arm at all times. Nothing better then that, right? They meant once and the engagement was set. Nine months after the lively wedding she gave birth to their first and only child, a small boy whom they named Aoi.
Now it wasn't to say that his mother was bad or anything, for she wasn't at all. She gave it her all to love and take the best of care to her son. But for reasons that her mothers death had cast upon her, she just couldn't love him. She couldn't love anyone. But her dedication and false smiles that she cast over to the unknowing baby was enough, wasn't it? They say that baby's are more intelligent then human being in understanding another's feelings, and that could be proven with little Aoi. When he layed in his mothers arms, he somehow knew that it was wrong and cried. He would keep crying until he was set down. Then his mother, upseted, would run away from the room, leaving the baby to his own. As for his father, the love was real. But having inherited a job beyond the capability of a normal human being, stress was enormous. He spent only an hour with his son a day as it seemed, then leaved the rest to the boys mother. His mother soon got a maid to hold her son when he cried, for she could no longer stomach it. As if to justify her mothers actions, Aoi's mother hung herself when the boy was eleven months old. His father was unsettled by this, but soon got remarried to another women. Aoi, being a baby at the time, didn't notice the difference between this women and the one that use to hold him in the same matter, only that the new one had warmer arms, an enchanting smile, and eyes that you could get lost in. This women was his mother, the other person was just the women that happened to give birth to him.
Life went on. The boy grew older and was taught to experience the world around him in matters he never realized. The years passed quickly and smoothly. The only dire event was when he turned seven and learned that he wouldn't be able to bend like his father and his fathers father and on and on. This lead to causing the family some emotional stress, for a non bender could never carry on the traditions that were so important in the family. His father, upstate by the boy but not wanting to show his son this for it wasn't the parental way, ignored him. Because of this, his mother yelled and scowled at his father to pay more attention to his only son. His father, being as stubborn as he is, fought back. The fighting of parents caused the boy natural stress, and much of his seventh year alive was with his eyes closed and ears covered. Throughout these fights, the boy would let his mind wander around to another world. In that world, he was not only a skilled bender, but a powerful ninja and assassin that could bring any power down without breaking a sweat. In his world, he was the strongest out there that would make sure no parents would fight. In his story's, he would become the ruler and save the world by enforcing rules that everyone loves. He would never back down, ever. When in the real world, a simple comment would make him cringe and duck. Even as his parents love started to blossom again, the person that Aoi created in his mind still thrived. His role model was this person, but a little voice in the back of his head told him over and over again that he couldn't do it. He couldn't do it.
The one day, the boy looked in the mirror and realized something. The reason he created the person in his mind was simple; He absolutely hated himself. Hate is a strong word, and the boy meant every meaning of it when he said it to himself. He was fourteen at this time. Small and thin, with no aspect of muscle on him. No friends whatsoever and the largest amount of the day that he is social is at dinner with his parents, even though he usually responds to their questions with grunts or shrugs. And yet, the boy loved the person in his mind. It was the person that he wanted so dearly to grow up to be- and was now so far away. What could he do though? Most people have been training since birth to become flexible to the point were they could become ninjas, and assassins were trained in the way of the sword since they could pick one up. He could never compare to those people, ever. The boy, dismayed, locked the door to his room and spent an entire night thinking. He finally came to the desiston that he just needs to screw the world and become the person that he wanted to be. That night he ran away, but not before kissing his mother to sleep and telling his father that he loves him. When he was rushing away from his house, the boy decided that no matter what, no one should know where he was born or raised, nor his parents names. For that matter, they will be protected, always.
He started to travel the world and become the person he wanted to be. It was hard at first, for the boy was so homesick and had no idea what the outside world was actually like. And he was so afraid to ask for help because of the way others might look at him. After a while though, he realized that he will never see anyone that he meets ever again, so why not make a fool of yourself? Once he got that pressed firmly into his mind, he started to take lessons of all sorts. The boy, not knowing what type of fighting was which, took any class he could at the moment. This led to much conferment and trouble for the boy. Yet he, under the thoughts of the man in his mind, continued. Soon, his own fighting style blossomed out of these many traditional styles. One could not explain how proud the boy was of himself. But he didn't stop, for he realized that he may never be able to bend like the other man but he will be able to control a sword. It took him much longer to take up this practice, for the thought that if he so much as drops the thing in his hand, he could loose a foot. By the time he was twenty, he had it more or less down in his head. Now, another problem was arising. The boy use to be able to get meals off of his cute face and an overly dramatic story. But now that he was older it was getting harder to get people to believe him. What he really needed was a job. So the wandering increased as he looked for odd jobs all over. Many people came to dislike the boy for this, haggling people out of their money in a way. He didn't seem to find any fault in this although..
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so." -William Shakespeare
