Welcome to the official list of Global Rules for Avatards United! These rules must be followed at all times, and in all places on the forum, unless in the case of specific rules being overridden in certain boards (and ONLY in those boards). Please take the time to read ALL sections.

General Forum Etiquette:- Try your best to keep swearing to a minimum. It is not favoured here. Please do not attempt to bypass our profanity filters in any way.
- Generally, treat all forum members with respect and dignity. Do NOT target or harass any member in any way. If somebody is making you feel uncomfortable, please PM me ("admin") or another Admin or GMod right away.
- Do NOT ask others for their passwords or give your password to any other member. Report any member asking for your password to me or another Admin/GMod right away. Asking for another's password will automatically garner a permanent ban from the forum.
- Respect staff members and their decisions. If a member of staff decides something, his or her decision is final unless changed at a later time.
- Do NOT post any material that could in any way be considered inappropriate. This includes pictures videos, text, etc.
- Try to stay on-topic for the current board (and thread) that you are posting in. Slight off-topic posting is indeed fun (in small quantities) but please attempt to keep it to a minimum. (SEE BELOW).
- Try to make every one of your posts on the forum worthwhile and of good quality. Quality is valued much more than quantity.
Some Boards may have individual, extra Rules posted. Those, too, must be followed while in such boards.
Staff reserve the right to take action against any member found in any way to have broken the Global Rules or specific Board rules. If you are a serious offender (cases of threatening, targeting, stalking, or otherwise inappropriate member-to-member behaviour) your ISP and/or the police will be notified. More serious offenses will obviously be the most highly punished. Staff reserve the right to ban/disable (the account of)/delete any member for any reason, for any period of time, and to modify any aspect of any user's presence here, including but not limited to deleting/modifying posts and changing/deleting personal avatars/signatures, etc, for any reason. Staff also reserve the right to deny any member any service of the forum for any reason.

Your Presence:- Please keep the size of your personal "avatar" (or "icon") at 100 by 100 pixels or below.
- Please keep the overall size of your signature reasonable, and please do not include large images (ie larger than 200x500 pixels) in your signature: Our image-compressing code can take a long time to load, especially for slow-connection users, if it needs to compress a very large image to avoid stretching the page.
- Please do not include so much text in your personal text as to stretch the page.
Staff reserve the right to modify any aspect of any user's presence here, including but not limited to deleting/modifying posts and changing/deleting personal avatars/signatures, etc, for any reason.

Other Forum Rules:- Please do not start a thread or PM a staff member requesting a Custom Title, rather, buy it at our Custom Title Shop (you will require 3,000 Money Points or 600 posts to your name).
- Do not start a thread or PM a staff member requesting to be made a member of staff. You must apply in the current application thread (if any) and be voted in by the current staff team to get a position (except in very special conditions).
- Do not post in our RP section without first applying for a character.
We reserve the right to deny any member any forum service for any reason.
