Your character's name: Midori Usagi
Nationality: Earth Kingdom
Air Nomad, Earth Kingdom, Water Tribes, Fire Nation (choose one)
Bending skills: Advanced firebender
Airbender, Earthbender, Waterbender, Fire Nation, non-bender (please choose one, preferrably the one corresponding to your nationality, or no bending ability)
Character's age: 14
Gender: Female
Short description (family background, appearance, etc): Midori was born in Ba Sing Se, her mother an earthbender, but her father a firebender. She was alot like her mother, someone who had a personality that could make anyone laugh. Her father did not support the Fire Lord, but he was still a firebender, and many people did not like him. Following her father's path, Midori also became a firebender, while she really wanted to airbend. She did once see an airbender practicing his moves, and watched in awe as ther person made a tornadoe, and tried to hide her powers. She had plenty of earthbending friends, and her life was perfectly fine...
Until that one day, right before her thirteenth birthday. Her father was found dead. Midori had already mastered her intermediate level of firebending, and was working hard on lightning. She and her mother were coming home from grocery shopping when they found him sprawled against the door, only a mark of a lightning entrance hole within his body. From that day on, Midori swore to only use firebending for good, and to help the Avatar concur the Fire Lord. People of Ba Sing Se pitied her, and they spoke no more of her firebending abilities. Growing used to her father's death, months passed by, and Midori finally turned fourteen. She was still struggling with bending lightning, but she at least managed to produce some, but would always end up flying backwards. Her mother wasn't much help either considering she was an earthbender, but Midori was still happy where she was. Because of her father's death, her mother decided to send Midori along with her Aunt and Uncle, who lived in the Fire Nation and were firebenders. Midori refused, so her mother suggested living with one of her older earthbending cousins, Tamiko, who was 16 and could take care of herself and someone else. Midori enjoyed her older cousin, and moved in with her instead, and her younger thirteen year old cousin, Ruri.
Appearance : Midori has long dark brown hair with two strands tied in the back, a bit tan, and astonishing blue-green eyes, that resembles her birthplace at Ba Sing Se (even if she's a firebender), and is 5'4.
An RP example (8 sentences, your best): The Usagi family was very popular, filled with firebenders so far till today. Many firebenders hoped that Midori would re-carry the chain, and re-form it, since she was a firebender too. This wasn't something Midori intended to do, but she didn't say anything else whenever someone would ask her.

"Beep beep beep beep!" "Argh!!! BE QUIET!" Midori sat up sharply, glaring at her younger cousin, Ruri. Midori was fortunate to find an alarm clock like her cousin since she always woke up, but being an annoying alarm clock pays a price, and that was how cranky the fourteen-year-old girl would be when she woke up. Her tassled hair stuck up all over the place as Ruri jumped off of Midori's bed a toothy grin on the girl's face and raced downstairs. Yawning, Midori got off, knowing that it was no point trying to catch the girl. Her feet touched the fuzzy carpet and she made her way to the bathroom, took a quick shower, changed, brushed her hair and teeth and walked down the stairs. It was just another typical day. "Good morning Tamiko." She said to her 16 year old cousin who was laying fried eggs on her plate. Ruri had that same smile on her face, and threw a newly made paper airplane at her cousin. "Good morning to you too, Ruri." Midori replied through gritted teeth, irritated, and watched as Ruri walked back to her chair, now shoveling sausages inside her big mouth. Sighing heavily, Midori walked slowly over to her seat, and quickly finished her breakfast before telling Tamiko that she was taking a small stroll in Ba Sing Se. "I'll avoid the Fire Nation as best as I can" She told her sister and walked outside. Instead of heading towards the city, Midori walked inside the forest where she and her earthbending and other firebending friends would play and train. Lemurs hopped all over the trees, birds chirping and sqwaking, and it occured to the girl how long she hadn't been to the woods. Smiling, Midori took a seat on the warm grass, the sun shining on her back as a lemur walked curiously towards her. For once in the girl's life, she could feel that something was about to change.
